Dear Yuletide Writer, Treater or otherwise curious person,

Welcome to my yuletide letter, where I will try to give you some insights about my likes and dislikes that go past the barebones DNWs.

Hello traveller,

Let me tell you all about the who the what and the how.

As you might have noticed, my selection of freeforms tends towards the setting more than the kink. Not because I don't have kinky preferences, but more because I'm willing to read pretty much everything that is not part of my DNWs as long as the characters are enjoying it... Or at least have an emotionally satisfying encounter -- looking at you, Tanner. Of course not all kinks are created equal, so I will give you a bit of an rundown again

Dear assignee,
Welcome to my letter, thank you for signing up for the worldbuilding exchange. I hope this letter will give you some inspiration for where to take the prompts.

If you want to go for in-universe meta, I have a particular soft spot for anything scholarly. Research papers. Field notes. Guides to particular locations or customs.

If you want to write fic, I am fond of most everything. A first look. A new experience. Revisiting an old favourite.

If you want to give me hurt, please give me comfort to go with it.

Critical Role (Web Series)
WB: The Revelry
Kingsley Tealeaf

I'd love to see more about the revelry, their rules, their customs, the secrets of Darktow... there is so much still left to explore and Kingsley feels like the perfect character to explore it. Molly never reached Darktow, so he shouldn't be known there. And yet, he also has a connection to Jester and Fjord. Does this help or hinder him?

WB: the disappearing children of Nogvurot
Dairon, Beauregard Lionett, Original Character(s), Any or No Characters

DNW: second person POV

Ever since we put together the pieces of the disappearing children and the consecuted souls I've wanted to learn more about their fate. What does it mean for them? How does the Dynasty react? How does the Empire react?

Inception (2010)
WB: benign use of dreamshare, WB: Early experiments in dreamsharing, WB: dream dens
Any or No Characters

We get a small glimpse of what dreamshare tech is being used for outside of the corporate espionage world. I'd love to see more of that, pushing the envelope, exploring what that technology allows. Interacting with coma patients? Exploring new technologies? Using the effective time dilation for extra study time?

Original Work - Fantasy
WB: Dungeon construction, WB: Haunted Forests
Any or No Characters

Often fantasy world will feature grand castles, lost ruins, haunted mansions, traps and obstacles for the heroes to traverse. But who put them there. Who were the people to design these places.

And who turned a lively welcoming forest into a haunted one.

Please tell me about the people involved. Or the people who no reside there. Or both.
